The environment has an influence on this disorder, as it affects the way the brain functions. This can happen in school, at home, or at work. A task might sometimes have a negative impact on a person with ADHD.

This disability is treatable, but it requires time, care, understanding, and support from family and community.

Individuals with this disability have a high level of innovation, bravery, and empathy.

Symptoms of ADHD

Symptoms differ from person to person and can manifest in a variety of ways. Common symptoms are distraction, poor time management, hyperactivity, lack of focus, exaggerated emotions.

There are three basic types of ADHD.

They are as follows:

Hyperactive type
People who are hyperactive have so much energy in doing so much that they tend to stop at short intervals. However they can be seen always moving, talking and also be doing this at an inconvenient time.

They often fidget, tap their hands or feet, and can’t sit still for long periods of time and also have a problem with taking turns during an activity.

Inattentive personality:
This is a common problem among people with ADHD. A child with ADHD would experience this most often during learning and in environments that are busy and distracting.

The main issue is distraction, organization, and attention. Some symptoms include paying close attention to details, remaining focused on the task at hand, failing to follow through on instructions, and disliking tasks that need sustained effort.

Combined type :
The combined type is of the two types listed above. So, if both of these traits are present in a person, this combined type should be considered.

It’s important to pay attention to the behaviour or character trait that keeps on going before we start labelling an individual with ADHD.

The causes of ADHD

There is no clear cause for ADHD . Medical evaluations, information from parents, teachers, completing checklists and other sources, would help diagnose it.
An in-depth analysis of the diagnosis is necessary.

Treatment

There is no  single way to treat ADHD. It varies based on the individual’s diagnosis. It is also a combination of various approach to help the individual. For example, one person may receive nutrition, medication, and behavioural treatment while another does not.

Conclusion

It is possible for persons with ADHD to go through life when diagnosed early and with the right support systemIf they are not detected early, they could have depression, low self-esteem, behavioural problems, personal and relationship problems, and if they don’t.
